Capital One is a financial technology company with a mission to help its customers succeed by bringing ingenuity, simplicity, and humanity to banking. During the summer of 2023, I was selected for Capital One's Design Development Internship Program. This experience has been invaluable to my growth and development as a designer. My work as a Design Intern involved using design research and strategy to enhance the inner workings of Capital One's design organization.

Working in a hybrid environment for the summer meant that I would be living in a new city for the summer! Living in Richmond for three months was a terrific opportunity to branch out and explore the potential of finding a career outside of my hometown and state.Ā
